Also my #1 complaint is the heavy congestion of traffic and buildings making it unconventional to drive around the "islands." I get it's trying to simulate big city situations. i felt like it'd be faster to take the subway around the map rather than drive. I found myself always hailing cabs to get to places in a hurry. This is a real shame because i've masterd GTA style driving and stunts and this game won't let you pull it off. They over did the physics factor and took all the fun out of it,
Have you ever been to New York?

Yeah! but San Andreas was based on Los Angelas, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. I've been to both Vegas and LA... and i saw a lot more traffic than was in San Andreas. Point is like i said, they over did the real physics factor and made the game less enjoyable to play. Their arent Ferrari's, BMW's, Mercedes, and Lamborghini's on every corner and stopped at every red light neither. But these games still do this.
It's a game and they shouldn't pollute one of their best features for the sake of being "lifelike." it's a game i play to escape reality not get sucked in even more.

It's an exaggerated take on reality. That's why it's "over done". If it were true to life, then it would be boring, and nobody would play.
I used to call this "The Tom Clancy Syndrome". It's the false expectatation that everything in every game is going to be a 100% accurate depiction of reality. The reasony why people play video games is to ESCAPE reality, not replicate it. Even though there are things that are inspired by real life, it's still a game, and it has to be fun.
By the way, there are parts of New York City you do see BMW's, Mercedes, and Lamborghinis, maybe not on every corner, but more often. I saw a guy driving a Ferrari 599 outside the Garden after a Knicks game.

yeah i seen a bunch of Rolls Royce's in a good part of Philly, while on a business trip. But yeah it has been overdone hopefully 5 will not have the overload of traffic and crammed buildings... i'd like to see it be more like S.A or even 3/ Vice City. Gta needs to comeback better than ever or it' gonna be the next Need For Speed series.
