I'm at the third "chapter" or section of the game, and loving it. The only issue which seems to be recurring is that I'm having trouble interacting with the environment (as Jodie), for instance I had a lot of trouble opening doors in chapter 2 as I always had to reposition myself and it felt like "down on R3" wasn't doing anything.
Might be my controller, but was wondering if anyone else had this same issue.
Surprisingly, I didn't have any trouble blocking, dodging, or jumping over objects. I did mess up a few times but that was because of my own horrible reaction times. It's just that sometimes, the whole "down on r3) doesn't want to work. I spent a good few minutes opening doors and ringing a doorbell. Sometimes it would work flawlessly and sometimes I'd be stuck until it would surprise me and work.
My bad, I was thinking of the duck with R3. I DID have trouble getting the game to figure out what I was trying to do when I was trying to do things like pick up objects and such using R3, if that's what you mean. It'd eventually work, but sometimes I had to back away and reposition my character in order for it to work. Kind of aggravating at times.
Yeah that is what I mean, and I'm glad (well, not glad, but you know what I mean) that it isn't just me. I fiddled around playing with barbies for a bit heh, it feels like down on r3 is just not sensitive enough at times which can be frustrating but overall a very minor issue in terms of how much I'm enjoying this beautiful story.
If what you mean is flicking the right analog stick up or down to interact with an object, then I've had no major cause for concern there. Sometimes when you approach an object, there's a white dot next to it (for example). Sometimes it looks as though pressing down is what will lead to your next action, but that's not always the case. If down doesn't work then try up. Other times you even need to press right or left.
I've just been doing wrong, I thought it was down on right analog for everything which explains why I failed so often. I didn't realiize that I needed to flick the analog stick in the direction that the interactable object was from Jodie.
Honestly I feel like a fool now but at least I got it figured out Thanks for your responses.
I'm having a problem with this game, when it asks me to move my controller left and right it doesn't work or just left or right, but when
it asks me to move my controller up and down it works, can you help me why it's not working when i have to move my controller
to left or right, thank you,
I'm having an issue too, but with the Beyond Touch app. I'm at the "Hunted" chapter and where I have to make the sniper jump off the roof. The game shows me a dot with an arrow pointing down and I can't figure out what to do. I've tried everything but I'm stuck. This is really frustrating, so if anyone who played the game with the app... can you explain what do with the "dot with an arrow"?
