So I downloaded the Free Version of BF3 that comes with PS+, is it suppose to have online multiplayer? I keep on getting this message, I even downloaded a online pass thinking that might be the problem but no luck there.
I use to own BF3 for the 360 but gave my 360 to nephew, so when I saw BF3 was free with PS+ I decided to purchase PS+, I assumed that it was the full game, multiplayer and all, but maybe its not or else theres another problem, any ideas?
Yes, the game you downloaded should include both single player and multiplayer. EA's servers sometimes glitch and you can't play multiplayer until they are back up and running. If you have waited over an hour since your first incident and still can't connect, I'd recommend contacting EA customer support.
Well, after spending hours on hold with EA they pretty much told me something is wrong on my end. I can play every game I own online without a problem, but I did everything they suggested (opening up ports etc.....) and it still can't connect to EA online. **bleep** I have spent hours on phone and changing settings with no luck, I even uninstalled the game and restalled with a wired connection this time and still no luck. I don't have a clue what the deal is, but I really don't want to give up. Could it be the free version of the game and my PS+ isn't reading right? Like the codes or what not?
No I didn't, but I just got off phone with EA again and they had me run some test and send them results, they said everything looks good and I should be able and connect with no problem, so they said that there must be an issue with the digital copy and they will send me a physical copy for free
