Jesus. I'm having the same problem, and I've followed these to the letter and no good. They were working a couple days ago. Now I try to pair, the blue button flashes on the USB dongle and the blue and red buttons on the controller, but they just don't end up being paired. I've tried every permutation of when I plug in the dongle, where I try to do this, and how many controllers I try to sync at one time. I am about to throw them through my plasma TV. Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong? It was frigging working before.

I have the same problem. They were working just fine before, but now, no matter what I do, I cannot get them to work.

I just wish I could use the PS3 controllers for the game. I wish they would patch the game to allow this. It's so freaking insane to try and buy replacements!!!

I just tried the following instructions above and its still not synching. And this stopped working in the middle of a game. It might be the USB connection. Does anyone know how to test it with the PS3 or replace it?

Same here.  It was working just fine last time I used it, now all of a sudden it won't pair at all.  I've tried everything suggested in this thread and nothing has worked.  Just like you, the blue led on the usb flashes, so does the red button on the controller but nothing is happening.  Please someone help me!!!!
