Melee Idea

First off, i know the dev's don't read these pages and never get ideas out of it, i just want to know of you guys if my idea is ridiculous or could have potential.

 

Ok, so a lot of us (me included) consider melee overpowered, they render shotguns and submachine guns useless most of the time.

the knife being a one hit kill and faster than switching weapons makes it very lethal, and maybe overpowered.

 

So therefore; my idea

 

Instead of knifing you bash with your weapon, it's not an insta kill, it's like a riot shield: it takes 2 hits of your weapon to pummel them down. it would be good to finish them off or to use it as a last resort, and barely never rely on it.

 

Then we could use the commando perk for giving you a knife, not the overrated range or speed, just the knife making your melee attack a 1 hit kill.

 

I just think that this would balance it a lot more

 

any thoughts?

it seems pretty cool but you know how ppl are with the perk... so i dont kno ha

It has a bad name, but that changes it completely

 

so it won't have that teleporting ability, just your normal range and speed

Yea and move the "Knife Perk" to Teir 1 to ballance it out.

That would be good, if the noobtube removed tier 1 perk as well, would make it all more balanced and should mean less noobtubes
