Well I liked COD4 because it was simple. Simple killstreaks and simple guns. Each gun had their own niche within their own catagory so it was mostly prefrence. WaW was a WW2 game so I never really ranked up...I think I am less than level 10 on that game. MW2...I liked the inclusion of more killstreaks to amp up your game...but some guns were just OP. BO was the more balanced game I had although the AK was used it wasn't the best gun just had the best feel so it allowed for some variation. MW3 more Killstreaks and diffrent packages and the ability to gain "Points" to use for streaks so even if you play the objective you will get rewarded. However there are only ever 3 guns being used Mp7, Scar, ACR. Far too OP and thus the diversity is only found in the point streaks.
In all they bring something new, MW being the one to bring it in, but I would have to say MW3 is my favorite. The pointstreaks allow for diffrent play styles. Specalists for Solo, Support for Objective and Assualt for killers. Although assualt can help in objective modes, Reaper, Ac130, Assualt Jug. It is commenly harder to get unless you are holding a position down. But the vareity in streaks are what I love about MW3. If BO2 can have that buy balance out the guns a bit then that will be my favorite.
Mw3 is cool in that you get points for planting, defusing etc like you said. I never played waw and I played mw2 for 15 days total gametime. Black Ops was alright and the commando is by far my favorite cod gun. Cod4's mp5 is right behind it imo. Mw3 I use the ACR all the time, it's the only gun I have gold camo for. I've been reading that BO2 will have new features not seen in a cod game before. Have to see if the new stuff is good or bad lol...as long as search and destroy is in the game I'll get it..
Back in the day, cod4 was the ****. I had over 20 days played in that game it was that good. Every subsequent cod game I have played less and less of them. Mw3 I just passed 8 days of gametime. I'm hoping that a fps will take cod4's place but not counting on it.
you know i know i said black ops was the best but then i hear so many great things about cod 4, i wish i bought it back then sounded fun ...
It was the best of its time. It was fun and everyone was playing it. Ranking up and unlocking guns and camos seemed like it would never get old.I still play COD4 and love hearing "Friendly chopper on the way!"
The story was pretty good and thought out and ended just like first Modern Warfare started (Price lighting his cigar)
I dont have much to say about online only because I was horrible at it.
I'm not even going to entertain that video.
