The best thing to do when the PS4 was release on day was to have two USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 each on the console just in case if need. But still USB 3.0 should work with USB 2.0 without problem's unless sony drop the support out of the USB 3.0 ports and want all USB 3.0 only.
Why all of you that have the Playstation Wireless Stereo Headset didn't say or try the following adapter:
If you think about it..., if you can connect a 3.5mm jack in to the controller, I had an idea to look for an adapter like the above link and than connect the headset adapter to that..., I believe it will work, I'm not sure 100% but it's worth a shot, so I order the USB adapter, I will get it in few days and I will let you guys know if it's working or not...
Any other idea on how to connect the old (and still beautiful) Playstation Wireless Stereo Headset?
I don't think you are getting 7.1 with that headset on the PS4. Its a PC headset and from everything I have read, it needs drivers installed to the PC for Dolby Surround to work. Its unfortunate though because Dolby Headphone is far better then Sonys VSS.
