Starting with 0 isk and nothing in inventory except suits and guns. Looks like i'm going to have to grind this character I will only have for 4 days. The ones who really benefit are the ones who get the easy kills off a suit with no fitting.
My experience with this event:
It's not a very good event. First of all: The only ones who really get anything from this event are the 200 Templars. 2,5 Million ISK for killing 3 of them is barely a reward, because you will probably lose more money while hunting for them.
Next thing is that you barely meet any of the templars. Of course from time to time you will be thrown into a match with one of them. But then you must have the luck to be on the oppsing site, after that you still have to meet one of them and even then you have to kill one of them. 2,5 Mio ISK is barely worth the effort and for most people the game will just continue like always, with nothing special happening. Also with the upcoming Eve to Dust ISK-Transfer 2,5 Mio ISK aren't worth anything.
Also how the templars were chosen is not really a good way to do this. Because I've read from some people that they got chosen twice. So they now have 2 templar chars. Yeah. Great. Some people got 2 chars and others got none. Also this makes it even harder to find one of them. After all I doubt these people will play 2 templar chars at the same time, effectively reducing the number of templars.
I'm all for events, but they really should be better in the future, with actual rewards for all people who participate in it.
I'm Templar 124 and I'd say I'm a pretty good player but they really started us off on nothing for this stuff. 2,000,001 SP but no isk to use it on anything means some intense grinding. I'm having quite a bit of fun though.
I m in the event and I have to be honest./........... CCP FAIL,..... What so fun about running around in Militia Gear getting owned by Proto Gear.... I dont want the crappy suits they wil give me godforbid i reach 20K SKillPTS
Rather the 2MIL ISK for killing templars...
Sorry but im not getting the reasoning
