I agree, you meet alot of fun people this way in pub matches, even if they don't have a mic it's nice to have extra squad mates

I wanna be more social in Dust - I mostly hack, place uplinks, defend and DIE but this game is awesome. Can't wait for the full integration w/ Eve and I will try to be more social (even tho no mic) and thx for the push

Yup you can even make private chat channels like the Better Hide or Die chat channell where you can invite non-clanmates to join and stuff.

They do need to do one thing, squad invites, only show me people who are online or at least indicate who is online and in a group, who is offline, and who is online not in a group all from the menu!
