It works, using DDR to develop a work out routine has helped several of my friends lose a lot more than just ten pounds. Just have to be dilligent and work at it every day. Try and do every song a little better than the last.

to me this is the easiest way to loose weght and FAST!
I could never just jump on after not playing for a few weeks. i had to break myself in slowly if i went longer then 8-9 days really. play until it hurts, dont push urself too much otherwise, for me anyway, it takes much longer to break yourself in.
i was doing probably 30min on standard song for 6 days then id get into heavy n standard..mix it up for about an hour.. after that.. i was on heavy for as long as i want basically.. it takes a little time to adjust yourself but within that 2 weeks i lost like 10 pounds. It is easier with a friend if u play on atleast standard other wise it fails u and most songs when u die its over...

Since about 2011, I have lost 20 lbs, and managed to keep the weight off and havent been able to lose more. But in the days since, I managed to complete Paranoia Survivor Max on expert for the first and only time about 18 months ago. Maybe it's me, but the harder expert songs I always had a hard time with seem way easier now than they used to be, and isn't a contributing weight loss factor anymore.
