Sad but probably true. I am guessing that they are trying to build in some move support.

There is a new DDR for the ps2 that was annouced. Festival. Sigh, probably be worse that X2.

I thought that X was worse than X2. I actually thought the song selection in X2 looked and sounded better than X.

Either way Festival is an automatic buy for whenever it's released.

...wait a minute, are you guys talking about DDR FESTIVAL? The Japanese counterpart of DDR Extreme US CS? That's been out for YEARS :/

I haven't heard of a newly PS2 DDR game coming out except for the Wii version that they showed at E3, nothing else...was there some more news that i didn't catch or what?

Well it's gone now, but I swear there was box art of it on Konami's website with a coming soon.

Looks like they have a Wii game just called Dance Dance Revolution and some other game for 360 using Kinect and no pad.

Nope PS3 DDR at last years e3 Konami said the game supposed to be out last fall and then keep changing the release dates around... youtube the video " DDR PS3"

Tony, they are supposedly talking about a PS2 version of DDR coming out in 2010, NOT the DDR for PS3. I know at last year's E3 they announced the PS3 DDR, and this year they didn't mention it, yet apparently we will be getting news about this in the coming months according to Naoki Maeda.

They said that a "DDR Festival" game was coming out for 2010, but there has already BEEN a DDR FESTIVAL game exclusive to Japan (unless you have SwapMagic on your PS2) which had the same interface as the DDR Extreme US CS version. So at the moment i am confused if whether or not to believe that there is a PS2 DDR coming out soon, or if it was a mis-print on their side and they probably didn't know that there has already been a DDR Festival game out already...

...but eh, i'm staying on my toes all this month and next month for news about this year's games

Naoki stated that DDR X2 being delay because of DDR X2 for the arcade and trying to make the game runs better even though the dancing stages and characters going to totatally look different for the PS3 ver...

some of the song banners will use DDR X2 song banners while the other song banners looks different..

roppongi EVOLVED is the only song for right now going to use ddr x2 song banner on ddr x2 arcade while this song going to use ddr hp 3 song banner for ddr ps3 ver.

He also stated that watch Konami E3 ExPO he will be talking about DDR For PS3 and arcade.. and other consoles

I understand that Tony, everything you said in this post is pretty true, but I am going off as to what command said about there being a PS2 2010 DDR game and whether or not it is true or not...
...but whatever, lets just drop this because i have a feeling were going to keep going back and forth on this over and over again...
and P.S. It's not the Konami E3 Expo, its the JAPAN EXPO next week in Paris, France that Naoki said there will be a "DDR" surprise for everyone (including America and Japan i believe). So far we know Dance Masters is going to be there if Naoki is heading over there, as far as ARCADE and CONSOLE versions for this year, we can only stay tuned for what he is going to show us next/this coming week
