I think both the PS3 and PS2 vers both going to have some songs are the same and some songs different in each game.

Amen brother. DDR used to be a bemani music showcase, what we get Stateside now is let's appeal to generic mcgee and just throw mainstream songs and hope they stick. Sure these songs appeal to new comers/casual ddr players but the fanatic's like me see these songs as a waste of space where real fun/challenging songs could have been used.

I agree they are including a lot more american pop songs, basically since Supernova they've really started pushing the american pop stuff.  At first I didn't like it, but looking at this list there are some songs that I actually like and that I'm kinda excited to play because they actually work for a DDR game.  Fall Out Boy was a bad choice in the past, lol.

So Gamestop took the DDR game for Ps3 down for quite awhile, to the point I was getting a little worried.  Then they posted it again saying it was coming out something like 2 weeks ago, which was pretty ironic and the girl (yes, girl) working at gamestop was thoroughly confused by this but verified that it had indeed not come out and was not coming out for awhile.  Recently I checked Gamestop's website and they now have the game set for May 1st of this year.  I decided to check amazon.com and they still have the game for March 19th.

For those who don't know, the game was SUPPOSED to come out last October, so this is has been a constant problem.  When will this game freakin' come out?!?!?  The more I see of the 8 arrows the more I want to try it (doubles are fun too) and I want to play on an official Konami DDR pad for the Ps3.  When is the game actually going to come out???  Who flipping knows, even Konami doesn't have a dang thing on their website about it.  And until they do I won't believe any dates posted by amazon or gamestop; Konami is obviously calling the shots and being stupid about it; just get the thing done and shipped so we can fork over our money already!

According to Gamestop website it stated that it's moved to May 6th yesturday. Now their website says May 1st.. I'm getting tired of waiting and waiting...

Still no on Konami's website so I wonder how acurate a May date is going to be.  Here's hoping, but since it's been delayed from October 2009, December 2009, March 2010 and now May 2010 I am guessing that it's going to be more like October 2010.  Just taking a random guess but since X2 was so bad it's sales must have sucked as well and that doesn't bode well for future games.

Well, it COULD just be that the Japanese AND possibly the American team are delaying it to "perfect" the game. Point in case, Japan will get their console version of DDR X2 for the PS3, while we are also getting a PS3 version as well, so my guess would have to be that they want to release the game simultaneously across the regions AND they will make the game for the PS3 JUST like the X2 AC that's in Japan, which i do hope that when it comes out we will get the X2 AC exclusive songs (smooooooooch, Second Heaven, Dazzlin' Darlin, Fire Fire, POSSESSION , and many others)

If the delay means to make the game better, i am all for it (and i hope it is for the better)

Ah, no. I would have preferred that they take any of the decent versions of the PS2, and just roll it out for PS3. Its not that hard - people just want to move around to decent music.
