Re: Dragon Age: Origins....Anyone?

Is Dragon Age: Origins a free roamer like Fallout and Oblivion or are you stuck to one track and levels like COD?

Re: Dragon Age: Origins....Anyone?

I bought the collectors edition and am not sorry in the least!

though the elf mage bug was Horrible in redcliffe (the night of the dead quest)

thankfully it fixed itself. i was standing there and won.

for this quest make the dead COME TO YOU it helps.

as for free roaming, Yes you can it's very much like oblivion there

except everything is so dialogue driven you can easily lose track

of what you're doing.

I love it!

Re: Dragon Age: Origins....Anyone?

I'm definitely going to pick it up, but I am very disappointed that I won't be able to back up my game save ...

Just wondering whos going to buy it for PS3

It looks good, sounds good, but....its an EA games...Game, yes, EA Games, you know, those S.O.Bs who charge there customers to breath....

Spore was supposed to be amazing, but it was made so child like, it was crap.

Am just worried this will happen to DA:smileysurprised:

I love the idea of hte ingame modding, make your own characters, sungeons etc, sounds awesome and can get other peopels content to, as good as it sounds?

What do you guys think?

If your pc can handle it, get it for your computer. The graphics and combat system works much more fluidly on the PC because you have like 20 quick action slots on the bottom of the screen like world of warcraft. The consoles have only 6 and you have to keep pausing the game to access a radial menu to use more spells. Slows down combat alot!

Kudos! Thanks!

Re: Dragon Age: Origins....Anyone?

I didn't know where to post this but...

Did anyone else do the quest to become a grey warden and only get the viles of blood?

My friend has the 360 version and he was able to return with the tree viles of blood and he kept choosing "I have the blood but not the scrolls"... every time he did it he would rack up XP... So... when I was on level 4 he was maxed out level 25...

I tried it on my PS3 with no luck (not that Im angry or anything because the game is GREAT)

Let me know what you think...

Re: Dragon Age: Origins....Anyone?

I bought the standard edition for my PS3 and the collectors edition for the PC. So far I find them both to be pretty much the same graphics wise but I think controlling the party is easier on the PC.
