getting back to old game after completing a add-on

I played the golems of Agmarak add on and completed it. Now I want to go back to the previous game I was playing but I dont see any of the old saves. How do I get back to the other game?

sounds like you overwrote your old file.....and btw hope you beat the final boss on the hardest setting possible otherwise you don't get the weapon that can sold for 300 gold.
