Dawnguard (Skyrim DLC)

28 replies 2037 views Edited May 2, 2012

So what do people think about the DLC? Thoughts? Personally, I think it will have something to do with the Meridia and her daedric realm of the Colored Rooms. The red eyes can have something to do with Necromancy.

I heard that the Devs wanted a vampire covenant in Skyrim; the eyes and the word 'dawn' can relate to vampirism.  Would be interesting for me if it turned out like that anyways.. ->Is a Level 38 Archer Vampire<-

It could very well have something to do with Vampires as well. Personally, I am hoping for it to be in an area other than Skyrim. I want to go to some daedric realm we have never seen before. I would not mind going back to other realms we have seen as well.

I cannot wait for E3 to see what this really is. I may have to stop by the Bethesda forums too to see would all the lore masters think.

If it's a zombie apocalypse I'm going to kill a puppy.  My first thoughts were on the Mythic Dawn cult from Oblivion, but they've never been interesting.  We have more than enough of them in Oblivion.

It could also be the name of a new faction they plan on introducing. Where the faction will hail from is the big mystery. It could very well end up being a new faction called the Dawn Guard that come from some daedric realm (like Merida's). They could almost do it something similar to Oblivion.

They could have portals open all over the place where all these dawnguard come out and you have to travel to the daedric realm and stop them.

The Vigilant of Stendarr maybe?  Odd how those fellows show up all over the place but have no quests are parts of the story regarding them.

There really has to be more with the VoS guys. Hell, they even have their own headquarters that is just a big useless building.
