Skyrim - Daedric Armor

6 replies 177 views Edited Jul 7, 2013

I'm creating my daedric armor with the Atronach Forge. Why does the daedric boots keep disappearing? Sorry for not seeing this answer in the forums... I didn't see anything and figure I better ask the question...

Hmm, this appears to be a glitch that spans all the platforms. As far as I can tell it is only with the boots. Something screwy in the coding that Bethesda never bothered to fix. There is no fix without use of the command console, which is only on the PC version.

I am seeing a workaround though. Save your game and then create a randomly enchanted daedric object. Just keep reloading until you get boots. Sadly, you will not be able to put your own enchantment on it.

What forge is that? What benefits are there to using it? I havent played Skyrim since I beat all the DLCs so maybe I missed something?

It's at the college of Winterhold I believe... It's an alternative to smithing.

It is in the Midden at the College of Winterhold. You will need to be at a level 100 in conjuration and do something for Phinis Gestor. Found out about this when exploring the Midden

I faced this same problem as a person who picked up the boots but didn't see them in my inventory. What I did was create a random piece of armor using different ingredients and just kept creating daedric armor until I got the boots. I picked them and and they were in my inventory. Plus the are enchanted with a certain enchantment. So there's that. The random armor ingredient doesn't require ebony armor. Ingredients: Daedra Heart, Void Salts, Soul Gem (any), and Ebony Ingot. Hopefully this helps. Even if you got it already.

And you need the Sigil Stone, which actually requires level 90 Conjuration.
