Re: Please Continue Support for PS3

I like EOJ. I think it's the interface and CCG combination I like. Even though the support is no longer there I still like to play, eBay has a ton of cards and it's just plain fun, even against the computer. But the issue I have is that the EOJ updates 2 and 3 are so darn expensive @ 15 bucks each seems steep to me. Although 20 for both is a deal, it should be 10 or less for a unsupported game.

Or one suggestion is to use the original EOJ deck registry so those who have invested into the original EOJ and cards can play EOJ legend online. I wouldn't mind buying a online EOJ legends update for the ps3. Then give the option to get new cards digitally, that way the older EOJ has some usability and that those who invested into the game and cards can have some fun too. Not to mention the ability to have psp and ps3 games would defiantly pour new life into EOJ, I'm sure many players would applaud that.

Re: Please Continue Support for PS3

I bought the game i think in around 2008 and sold it off for unknown reasons i think to make a quick buck and grab something else..... i enjoyed the game for the most part and was really thinking about purchasing it again and getting a ton of cards to make a nice deck.

I've been looking everywhere and am getting discouraged because it really does seem as if the game is dead and they wont be supporting it any longer if thats the case i will stay away but if there is any indication of support to come i'll prob grab it.

I've seen the new game for psp but i dont have a psp anymore cuz i sold it for an itouch (totally worth it =D) I also dont like the way depth was removed and animations with the psp version. Id rather actually have to use real physical cards it makes it more fun.

So can anyone shed some light and maybe tell me news i dont know?

Re: Please Continue Support for PS3

I have followed EoJ from the start and have bought/traded/won cards so that I now have a full collection (some rare BEA, Biolith bomber, and Set 2 phantom promos excluded) of all sets. It has costed me more than I have spent on the total of all other games I have for the PS3.

Of course, I also have the PSP Legends (a PSP that I bought solely for the purpose of playing EoJL on it). The legends version is a more well balanced game, no doubt about it, but to say it is the same as the PS3 version would be to say that the crappy download bowling game for PS3 is the same as playing real bowling.

The PS3 game provided three levels of gaming: card collection, deck making, and game playing. Legends has in practice dropped the first level (but still provide deck making and game playing of course). The way your collecting effected your deck building and your game play is gone as by 9/30.

Of all dark chapters in how Sony treated this game, this is the most depressing.
