Fallout 3 DLC no longer available for Canadians?

7 replies 761 views Edited Nov 1, 2012
As far as I can tell, the FO3 DLC for the Canadian (French version) has disappeared with the store update. I don't exactly want to drop ten bucks to see if the generic option available is going to somehow work, so I was wondering if anyone found a way to work around it/find it.

I'm in the U.S., so I can't really confirm or deny any of this, but I can tell you that the U.S. coded dlc will not work with a french/english coded disc.

Perhaps you are better of going with the GOTY version. I imagine it should be quite cheap at this point.

Is the DLC worth buying for this game?

I still think $10 per "episode" seems a little steep.

I'd be **bleep** off if I finished them in an hour.

Broken Steel is certainly worth the price as it adds a whole lot to the game, including extending the potential gameplay to infinity.

The others are a harder sell. Most are fairly short and only add a handful of different weapons and armor.

Personally, I like the rewards from O:A the best. That being said, I thought the actual dlc missions were dumb. Point Lookout is nice because it adds a whole new map to explore, which is a decent size, but the rewards are lackluster, imo. Not to mention that PL is also the most unstable of the DLC, in my experience anyway.

The Pitt and Mothership Zeta also have their moments, but are ultimately pointless. I suppose it would be fair to look at it like this: if you really love energy weapons buy MZ. If you really love melee, buy The Pitt.
