Batman is the leader of Justice League and thats why the joker is the antagonist in this game. If they remove Batman and Batman characters the game would need a new name. There is no Justice League without Batman. Without Joker and Batman there would be no Injustice. So yeah the title of game stays true to its name.

I think that's a stretch that Injustice is a Batman/Joker thing.

Just because Batman is the leader of the JL (didn't really know the JL had an official leader. Kind of always seen it as a group thing with the heavy hitters such as Supes, Bats, Wonder Woman, GL and the few others) doesn't automatically make Joker the main antagonist. In fact, I just spent 10 minutes trying to find an official story synopsis for the game and the most I can find is 'blurring the lines between good & evil/heroes & villains' which is why heroes are fighting each other. The PS Blog interview with Boon even mentions they haven't released many/all the story details (would probably have to take more time to dig through Gamescom/TGS/PAX/etc. interviews for those new details) so despite Joker being front and center on the cover, this is encompassing DC as a whole, not the 'Batman' angle that DC loves so much to shove to the front.

Then again, I have a bias against Batman most recently these past few years (would like to see DC focus more on others) so ignore me.

Can they add Impulse(adult version) with the yellow glasses, or would that be too many speedsters. 

I don't get how regular people like Nightwing, Batman and the Joker could stack up against Superman, the Flash, or Green Lantern, among many others with Superpowers. This is something that has always bugged me about DC.

I am SO excited about this game. Thank you Slash for posting all the new info like you have! 

I know there is no way that Batwoman (Kate Kane) is going to be on the list of launch characters, but do you think there is any chance at all of her being a future DLC?

I think it will be okay. I know it will have a MK feel, and that the stage hazards may be too much of a gimmick, but it should be fun.

I agree, I think it'll be good, especially since there are not Mortal Kombat-like expectations of gore and bloody justice
