Fighting General

Good Day Everyone,

I originally started this next generation of gaming on the playstation 3. I console jumped a lot in my earlier years. Now, I pretty much exclusively play fighters. SF:3SO,SSIV:AE,P4A, etc... I wanted to know if it would be worth the switch back to my roots.

You mean the PS1? If so, I don't think you should, though most of the better (or more remarkable) fighting games were made during the PS1 era imo (maybe it's the nostalgia factor kicking in). I think fighting games are coming up with more innovative ways to play nowadays, and some of the recent fighters are actually pretty fun.
