Ok, i haven't been one to complain...yet, but I'm about to. I've really been enjoying this game. LOVE IT! But, the the whole service account thing is confusing and should be explained a little better. I had 3 service accounts. #1 was from the beta, its dead, over it, don't care. #2 is the one i had from early access and the main one i've been playing on, and the 3rd one is when i got the hard copy and installed the game. The 3rd one is the one with the free 30 day trial, but the SECOND is the one i started with on early access and have spent all this time becoming a white mage, getting my pretty unicorn and what not...but now i can't access that account because its "not registered" on ps3. the third account is registered tho, but i have no characters on it....now, whats the flipping point of early access if you can't continue to use the same character, or whats the point of a free thirty days if it goes to a separate service account ur not even using??? I may very well break something.
EDIT: ALSO...my bonuses (mog cap, cait sith doll) are on the second service account, and the free 30 days is on the third. I want to use the free month, but i really don't want to lose my character, and pre order bonuses, and i only want one character, but it looks like i can't keep my character i've worked so hard on because the mogsite is directing me to register that service account on the ps3, which i did...and thats not helping and... *deep breath* ugh -_-
I'm really sorry to hear about that . Did you try contacting support to see if anything could be done?
Yeah the account registration can be confusing. On The Lodestone, there was a post since several ppl were running into issues:
everytime i've tried to contact them i get the same response 5 days later. "You're tickets expired, please make a new one" then that one is not responded to for another few days saying the same thing. pretty much given up on getting any kind of customer support.
So basically, i've lost my pre order content, and the character i've spent so long working on. Peachy.
Sorry that happened to you! Since it seems that a fair ammount of people have done the same thing that is probably why SE hasn't contacted you. I'm sure they are swamped with a lot of people requesting help and are trying to get everything straightened out. Maybe they will work on fixing this problem in the near future.
I really want to play this game and I almost bought it yesterday but I noticed that they aren't allowing new people to log in because of server issues. Was looking forward to playing it over the long weekend. Oh well, I will pick it up some time next week probably.
It would've been nice if they had everything sorted out beforehand. Preordering is now pointless since i lost everything on that service account. theres not even an option to renew it. Hopefully when more ppl are able to get on and play they don't run into the same issues. Aside from all the server and account issues, it really is a great game.
I'm getting a server is not responding error and it's giving me a link to the support center. I just input and registered the box code given I hadn't really done that and was using my EA code to play.
Anyone else having this problem?
i had the same problem it didnt register my early access service, wasnt my fault at all i pick ony options i had during registration. anyways heres what you gotta do
