You know it is really sad to say that I almost don't find these boards to be Friendly anymore? Sometimes I feel like the liberty of being a gamer has been so strictly enforced, I mean I have seen a Huge decline of people interacting on these boards. Example is when a thread gets a 1000 hits and only three responses? I have seen a rise in Threads being locked or deleted or users being Ban. I have seen pictures get deleted which aren't offensive. Example I posted a picture of kratos on the new PSP2 and I went to it today and the picture is removed? Now OMG talk about issues that I am showing my enthusiasm about the new system but since everyone is so dang worried about Copyright issues or Piracy rules take a innocent photo manipulation to the third degree burn? It seems users have to step around on needles just to post on the boards and how fun is that? The design of the new boards are not user friendly. Or navigating have become more complicated. When I sign up back in 2006, the navigation was easy and simplified, I knew what new posts were added to my threads that I was involved each and every time I logged in. Now it's a guessing game to know how many posts are new or old?
Now I for one think it's the users who make up the forums. Yet I think these changes are driving Veterans members from getting involved. I feel also that the attitude of Mods have greatly changes in retrospect that they are Gods on these Forums. They have the ability to change the whole layout of the forums and expect users to abide by them? Now not saying all the Mods I have met are Bullies. Yet I tend to feel that certain freedoms on these boards have been lost due to the Changes. I am almost reluctant to post this thread, since well if I don't agree with their standards, they have powers to lock, delete or ban. Now I would guanteed that some became a Mod over night?
Now I don't want to go off sounding like I am just critizing the Mods, since I am assuming they are taking orders from their bosses and so forth but I think locking up a thread because you have a bad hair day is just not fair and not right.
So my question to users is what Suggestion to Users can make the boards not so intimidating or just enjoyable to come on the forums for?

have you tried messing with "your view"? once you get to a space that you follow, click on "follow space", then in your "my view", you'll be able to have a list of those spaces, so you won't have to go through all of the step-down menus. if you combine this with Wollyspuds' guide on setting up your "my view", it''ll make your navi a lot easier. i know it did for me.
after i did the above, i've gotten used to these new forums and i like them. there is still an odd glitch here & there, but i know they're working on those. the only thing i'd like now is a quicker way of seeing which threads i've read or posted in already, instead of going to "my discussions" to see where i've posted after a day or so.
I agree, However they say there is nothing we can really do about it, so with that note... I say in the Words of my friend PIN, Over come and Concur... there is a group that a friend has started working on... we are not making a petition, yet more of a nice formal way to ask for things we want back in this forum... and instead of having the info in ten thousand places we will ask in one movement in one place... hopefully then our requests will heard... if any of you would like to join us and make notes for the document please let me know and I will get you to the right place... also I am going to note a few things real quick here that I want... in case someone who can do something about it is reading this...
First off I will over come and still be a pain in the butt if that is what it takes to get things on this site going , yet others are not that bull headed, and for them I am sad... they are a great part of the community and most likely have a very busy life, which means they can not mess with the Wiggets and such to do this stuff, and Tdarb if you reading this, I know you love the Widgets and such yet others are not like you, I love you just the same, yet you are not a reg user... you are more and you know I am right about that, so either you help us and be a friend or not, that's your Choice...
I would like to see easy Navigation, not ten clicks to get to what you want... I would like to see the old threads that are still missing, I would like to to see the post counts and new posts button back like we used to have... this enabled me to know which threads I was following and if there were new posts instead of having to check emails and book marks as well as actually checking the thread its self... that is crappy and un useful... also this is a big one for my friend who is having a hard time with these forums, and she is very smart just very busy... She has a good, real life, unlike me lol JK... She misses one thing the most! She missed the Edit OP feature... and she has a very valid point... She points out that Club threads and Game review, and Game Guide Threads are dieing Due to this feature being gone... and we did find a way around that, yet the DEVS here on the Site didn't like it much, not sure why that is, yet I can tell you that if they don't fix it many will leave... and that would be a shame cause the Clubs and People who make the Guides are the ones who spend the most time and the most money... so Shame on you Devs for not making this a Priority...
Also I would like a Skin... Actually we need more then two Skins...everyone has dif tastes...We are not box, we are individuals who make up a very diverse community! There was a nice guy who made one for us on Firefox and Chrome, yet I will note that opens up our computers to hackers and I am not happy about that... So SONY and JIVE give us Skin Options... cause I don't like my eyes to bleed from their sockets while I read on these forums...
I have many more yet I am getting angry so I will leave for now...
