To be honest it's not like it was an unsuspected thing that it actually became a set. I think armor should apply attributes instead of mostly crappy stats.
There should be bonuses for all stats based on equips. The armors with health reducing properties rarely get worn because they simply do more harm than good just trying to level them to 3 to minimize health damage.
A set with different stats would be nice...
