Idunno...White Knight Chronicles 2, Dungeon Defenders, to name the two games I've seen it in, it works. They don't have lobbies, I guess, and in DD you only get the gamer tag in the games list but IN GAME it has both. The name of your "character" sits on top, right underneath is your PSN tag.
I like the idea of naming characters, though my RPG character "SirCrush" exists in many places so I always just name my character that lol
I would love to have the ability to get more INTO your character by naming him. While it does tend to get a bit confusing, it doesn't take long to realize the top name is the character and bottom is the tag. Especially when you have "metalgearsolid200" and "Succubus" it is pretty obvious which one is the tag and which isn't (forgive me for forgetting your proposed greek moniker...you're a rival clan so I'll just call you Succubus!).
