Even when I'm playing 2vs2 and my teammate leaves. I stick it out. I'd rather play people better than me and get my @ss whipped then play someone I can beat all the time. How else does one impove his or her game.
They likely didn't want to be repeatedly stabbed in the chest by a woman (cough JodiArias cough)

Cool story. Since we're in the mood to tell stories, I'll tell one that happened last week I believe.
I was playing 4v4 on the Labyrinth map. The match started, one player from my team was no where to be found, which meant 3v4. All fine, I start collecting points from chests and altars and kill one player. 2 Minutes into the match, with about 1300 points in objective, I get cornered by all 4 players from the other team. I die, and few seconds later, there they are again, all 4. I go and check my team, and there I notice I'm all by myself, against 4 players...
Didn't seem like I was gonna be able to beat them. But since I had already collected a decent amount of points, I decided to keep playing, run around collecting points. Funny thing was, the gods intervened. I ran to the chain, and there, I met up with all 4 players... Lucky me, Relic of Chance got my Magic full.
I get there, L2 for the barrier, and SoD's triangle special, followed by Lightning Storm. Didn't kill anyone so I used it again, killed 3 of them, and got magic back enough for another storm, which I used right away. The last one got killed, and I even got back a bit of magic. I activated the chain after that.
I lost the match obviously, as after that, I just kept getting raped 4 on 1 till the end, but it was really fun and to kill them all 4 at once by myself ^^.
