I like the idea of unlocking things, even if they have little "substance" as I continue to play. I enjoy it. I don't mind falling into this trap. It feeds my need to have a sense of progress.

<p>Because otherwise leveling to the cap could be accomplished too quickly by thoroughly average players like me and would therefore feel less like an accomplishment. I really want to feel like I earn the upper levels. When I level up in Borderlands 2, I get super stoked because it takes a lot.</p>

I'm glad most are on the same boat as I am. Progression just keeps me busy and excited for what I still have to reach, which is my favourite. If the level cap is too low or the unlocks are very limited, then it gets a little... bland. Anything is good IMO. Icons, accessories, symbols etc I don't care I just don't want to hit the "top"

I have no problem with a Legacy(UC3)/Prestige(COD) but I do not want to lose my abilities and weapons huge turn off for me if that's the case I won't be using whatever system they put in this game.

Yah I never understood why you'd lose all your sh** when you level up. Doesn't make sense to me. I wanna be more powerful, not worse then before.

It was so depressing when I did this in UC3. I'm like...you took everything and I mean EVERYTHING from me. I didn't know what it did because there is no warning before you legacy and BOOM! Everything was gone.

If they implement such a system in this fashion, then I'm never going to be a legacy. I'm still scared from the UC3 experience.

@d1v4d Exactly well put, it seems more like a chore to me than fun who wants to lose all the abilities,perks,weapons they acquired over hours and hours of game play not me lol

@DAJizzle Yeah that's why I'm glad I did research before I get to level 75 when I figured out you lose everything even money I was like hell no lol

I was like OH NOOOOO!!!!! *Insert profane language* I'm not sure I've even gotten back to LVL 75. Legacy stole my fire man...it burned completely out.
