God of War: Ascension Multiplayer

My roomates and I plan on leveling up in the arena day 1. I have heard many say that the prisoner in the single player demo who dissapears before being crushed, is your multiplayer warrior. How does this work? If I decide to play multiplayer first will my guy appear as he does in the multiplayer, in the singleplayer aswell? Skin color, Armor? how does this work?

the warrior just transports to MP. you start MP with the portion with the prisoner, then warrior gets transported by coming down from the heavens or something to a tutorial level, you'll be brought before the gods (either zeus or the four gods will make an appearance, i'm not really sure) then afterwards you to the place with the altars and pick there. again, starting weapons will be the ones i previously mentioned for each god. hades = hammer, zeus = gauntlet, poseidon = spear, ares = sword.

so yeah, it's just like the tutorial from the beta.

I'm curious about the looks though. Based on post beta screenshots you can make your warrior an African/Numidian. Wonder how that will translate.

Perhaps your warrior only wears the pants?
