God of War: Ascension Multiplayer

Last night I was in a Team Favor match and it was close. We trailed the other team pretty much throughout the match, but then I acquired the Spear Of Olympus and you know the story (we started coming back). But it was still close, but we trailed pretty good. We had 7200 points and the other team had 7925 when I began executing Polyphemus. The executing of the cyclops means my team should have won since he's worth a 1000 points. I don't believe the other team opened a chest or got a kill because it didn't register in the final score like it usually does (ex. 8025 pts., etc.).

The cinematic began and it out of nowhere it said You Lose. I'm confused because I'm certain that we should have won the match. Anyone else had this happen to them?

Well I know that if you make execution wile your team is losing, the other team will win.

example: i made an execution when we had around 4000 and they had over 5000. Got "you lose" message rite after that

No it's not lag. It's a glitch. You can't blame every problem someone incurs on lag. There are some legitimate bugs in this beta and this may be one of them.

That's unfortunate that happened to you and your team that early. I'm not sure why this is. Hopefully they fix for release day.

Glitch or not this game still have them less then other titles.
I just hope they won't make new ones wile fixing those

Maybe it's like the snitch (Harry Potter reference). Once you kill the cyclops it ends the game. Whoever is in the lead wins. Or its possible that during the execution cutscene they made it to 8000 and won it before you were given the 1000 points.

Had a thread about this long long time ago, but still run into that issue.

Its because while you are excuteing the titan the other team is still gathering points (from the capture points), so even though the cinematic kicks in the team has already decided who won before you get the kill.

Which I hope they fix, because like you just barely catching up feels great, then you're let down with the end result. The points should stop counting right when the cinematic starts up.

Yeah it's a glitch happens to me sometimes.

Hopefully, all of these glitches and bugs are ironed out for full release. The battles in this MP are very intense; so, it's infuriating when you get a lost because of a glitch.
