Poseidon sucks for trial of the gods?

[ Edited ]

Hey, i have lvl30 poseidon and i think he lacks killing power.

Im thinking of rolling ares or zeus for totg. I do fine in multiplayer but just cant finish on solo because time ends..

Or is there some setup i could use to beat it? thanks.

Poseidon is supposed to have lower damage and a higher survivability. For raw power which matters the most in trials you'll need to roll a different class. I can talk out of expierence because i roll'd Ares for more damage at trials.

@title Poseidon is perfect for trial of the Gods if he has a good teammate who knows how to play it too. I completed all trials (x2) with a lvl 30 Hades and me being a lvl 30 Poseidon.

How well you do on solo? and whats your build? (Weapon, armor etc.)

*edit*

Most of the guys i end up in totg have no idea what they are doing, thats why i prefer solo.

Poseidon's "freeze" techniques are quite useful IF you have a co-op partner that can make short work of the frozen enemies. He has his upside in the Trials, but he relies heavily on a good partner as well. His "slow" techniques also serve to open up enemies for quick damage...damage that Poseidon himself cannot inflict fast enough.

Solo is extremely easy on Hercules and Olympus.

I do:
-Full Artemis
-First Sword
-Healing item
-Freeze
-Brutal Kills = magic

The L1+triangle not only does decent damage but ALSO increases your damage.

Freeze + Hammer on Olympus makes it too easy (you shatter cyclops with this) until the last boss. I've never beaten it though since the trainer is just annoying.

I love the first sword aswell, i have tried it with kraken set and magic set with decent resoults.

Artemis armour sounds like it could work well i have to try it, thanks. (Since survival aint the problem.)

Posidon paired with Ares make a good team, beat trial of Gods many times with an Ares player, won so much that we got bored of playing trial of the Gods.

Man who never eats tacos is no man at all.

Ambrosia, nectar of the Gods was not merely a nectar but something greater that the Gods consumed, the holy taco. Neither Zeus or Poseidon could control such power so it was banished to a different world. There Quetzalcoatl made the power in something mortals could consume without death.
