Oh yeah for sure! People leaving a game of Smite is a rare occasion, and you can almost bet that if someone does d/c for some reason, they're generally reconnecting shortly after!

@Thelesman "90% of the people are ragequitters in 2v2 every match it's the same"

With that hades sword combo spam you and buddy employed, i am not surprised.

Rage quitting is getting out of hand. More than 50% of my matches people end up leaving, I know it can be frustrating at times but you improve from your mistakes.

I hope SSM does something soon, punish players/migrate hosts?

Unfair and unbalanced matchmaking = quit. Playing against a known team (or players) employing cheap tactics = quit. Usually 2 lvl 30 hades players makes at least 1 player from other team quit, if they both have Hades Sword, then probably both.

The quitting in MoC is just as bad. I can see why single digits are quitting but I'm even getting high level 20's leaving the game with me.

Something needs to be done.

I doubt it would be a panacea, but adding a viewable stat that records an accounts leaving/quitting percentage might be a significant deterrent. Unless it's a 1v2, I never leave. The matches are so short that it's completely uncalled for

I just played a 3 vs 4 CTF game with my little ol' 17 Hades where it was me against 3 of the other team in just about every encounter and they were all stacked 30s.  And it was lagging.

But I figured what the heck, might as well make a go of it.  I think I went 2 and 9.  8D

One day, one day... I hope there'll be something amazing system that give harsh punishments to those;

Disconnected/Ragequit on purpose to get "addressed" to a new kind of Block list to avoid to meet online again for sure

If it's "Lost Host" then inform gently in auto message to reason by itself

Asking just too much for it to turn into the reality...

Just curious, has that been employed in other MPs with stats? A stat that tracks how many times a player quits?
