Just wanted to add to this topic.
It was pretty hectic during the Beta and it was hard to tell if a teammate was down or not because everyone (teammate or opponent) all had the red halo above their heads.
I think it's been discussed before but I think if teammates could see each other down via a green halo I think it would be a tremendous help in realising if your teammate needs help or not.
Here some visual aids to give a better idea of what I mean:
These images represent a situation where a teammate and an enemy are looking at the same downed champion. What they will see will differ depending on whether they're friend or foe.

That's probably because it was hard as HADES to pull off in the Beta!! One of the reasons it was so difficult is because with everyone having a red halo it was hard to tell who was downed, teammate or enemy!
If they keep the ability to snag and save a teammate in the final release, I hope they have thought of an intuitive way of solving this issue!

I have NEVER saw a green halo... never ever ever but I did save a guy one time granted it was kinda laggy so I missed most of it.
I heard you could only do it when they're almost standing up..but that's so pointless..
If you could only do it when they're almost standing up, that does seem rather pointless...
P.S. - I made the green halo in the above screenshot. I hope I didn't confuse anyone with my images lol!

@kb4983 Man, SSM Should Hire You Right Now As A Visual Technical Expert .Lol
You Think Of The Most Magnificent "Tweaks" In The MP To Give It The Intuitive Mechanic .
This Would Make The "Grapple Save" Function A Lot More Visible To Nearby Teammates In The Heat Of Battle .
Thnx Again My Good Pal ; )

I hope this stays in the game and is advanced upon. We talked about an idea of being about to save your teammates from traps (being able to pull them out) in the "friendly kills don't punish" thread. That thread got pretty long and had some good ideas in it.
