I think for a better esperience at the arena you should be able to go to an arena ambiented to the God you currently aligned to. If you're aligned to Zeus, go to the forum of the first cinematic Zeus makes his appereance at GOW3. Or if you aligned to Hades go to the place where you fight against him at GOW3. It would make the training experience a lot nicer.
