is it only for getting stunned? or does it also reduce the time for the special attacks to replenish?

The cooldown I am almost positivie it means the cooldown for the abilities R1 + "x" and R1 + Square. After using these abilities they are put on a short cooldown and cannot be used until that cooldown is up.

They will determine whether you live or die. lol They do different things depending on the weapon used in conjuction with the buttons.

I'm sure he means L1+X etc. You can't use R1 in combination with any other buttons, it's only for grabbing and object interation.

oh and yes, the cooldown stuff is for your strong attack and L2 moves(whatever you see in the top left corner of your screen), they'll recharge and be ready for use again more quickly.
