Though I could probably check by watching the end credits, is it possible that the concept art may have in some part been drawn by comic book artist and hardcore gamer, Joe Maduriera? Probably misspelled the man's name, but I'm pretty sure Joe Mad had some part in this edition's art concepts when it comes to characters. Joe Mad is also responsible for the art and creative consultant assist in the game (cringe) DarkSiders.... check out his art in various runs of Uncanny X-Men and his former creator owned "Battle Chasers", good stuff.
