LoL at the message above just got a brand spanking new disc never been touched before and didnt work, need someone from sony to actaully come out and say theres a problem instead of looking for excuses or denying it

I am having the same issue, i past the realm of Hades the 1st time around without a glitch, than my brother started a new game and told me it kept freezing at that spot, I didn't believe him anbd thought it was a corrupted file. We deleted all of the previous saved files and started over and it starts right after we kill poseidon, when he is falling in the water, it freezes and you can here the water the screaming but it does not move for a while. once we get tho Hades realm we can't save 'cause it freezes and we have to manually shut off the PS3, and loading the files never happens. If we manage to pass it when we jump in the realm of Hades we die, we thought one of the fallen hit us while we crossed but that was not the case. Should I return the game?

It's not the game, pass it to a friend and make him play it if it doesn't freeze it means it is not your CD! And also try to save the least possible because at all saves it crashes for me and many other people!

The game may be malfunctionning with some PS3s yours and mine included, because my friend tried it on his PS3 and it worked perfectly!

I think I found a way to play it without freezing! I don't know about you but I am playing in HD and I tried to direct feed some of the bugs I had because I wanted to make you guys see about them but curiously in SD it never bugged or audio lag in any way, at the part of SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hermes where the bridge falls I had many audio bugs and all that stuff in HD and in SD it worked perfectly so maybe the freezes are due to playing in HD....

But I am not sure of that it doesn't make sense but it works....But anyway playing in SD is not cool there is like 60% of details missing compared to HD!

the game froze on me to day for the very first time. it was at the part. where the guy was hanging from the chains. i forget his name.

It's possible, I got in the habit of waiting to record a video for youtube (in SD) after it froze at least 5x for me.  And often times the next playthrough (recorded) would get past the freeze, so I'd just use the next save point and switch back to HDMI until the next place that froze.

Hmm so you mean it didn't froze when playing in SD?

Because if yes it is a big thing.... It might help the devs to resolve this problem faster!

Tried antou's trick but it didn't work for me.
