Re: Acura NSX RM '91 Challenge

Apr 12, 2013

WELL DONE T!!!!!! i knew going into this race that i would be fast, but my wheel has built in traction control( sticking brake pedal and the up shift paddle often double and triple shifts). so i knew that it would be a rough go. none of that matters though cause it was still a great race. i saw there was alot of contact out there sorry pete and face, it sounds like you got the worst of it. lunzar, no worries bud that was a disaster waiting to happen. poor ice was recovering from an off just as we were flying up the hill. he prolly had no idea we were coming, and the entrance to the corkscrew is not an easy place to try and avoid traffic. see you guys out there next week.

Yeah, hey, sorry again... it was my fault, I broke a little too late in the ole corkscrew. I was on RMs that last stint, so it was a full on slide into your drivers door. I was kind of amazed that I was being lapped. Great win Tguns!! Everyone else good driving out there. See ya next week.
Peace,

Lunzar

Re: Acura NSX RM '91 Challenge

I tried for the last two hours to get that replay that pete posted onto my usb stick and onto to my ps3 lol. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong so I don't have it yet. I'm out of time to work on it tonight so tomorrow maybe I won't be such a noob. Prizes will be sent out and the points standings will be updated once I can view the replay.

I think you need to "unzip" the folder, then save it to your USB. Just a guess.

I told you guys that I wouldn't be here last Thursday. I'm really sorry about missing this one, too. (Meh, I don't really like Laguna Seca anyway, I guess)

I have to work longer than normal yesterday, but I should be in the clear from now on.

That's correct tg, I pm'd the instructions to WAGG.

I also checked that the file is okay, I D/L'd it and saved it on another account, no problem veiwing it.

Re: Acura NSX RM '91 Challenge

It's a lot easier if you Save a Game to the USB stick first.

Then the folders you need are already there.

But you Need a Folder called PS3

and a subfolder called SAVEDATA

then when you UNZIP the replay it will create it's own SUB Folder somehing Like this BCUS98114-RPL010

So you end up with folders:

PS3-|

         |-SAVEDATA-|

                                 |-BCUS98114-RPL010

In that last folder will be all the files that make up the replay data.

If you're using a USB that you saved your game on, then you will have a Folder somthing like this: BCUS98114-GAME

That's the saved Game Data.

You just add the replay folder to the already created SAVEDATA folder.

PS3-|

         |-SAVEDATA-|

                                 |-BCUS98114-GAME

                                 |-BCUS98114-RPL010

Once you have it stored on the USB, you just restore the replay, the same way you would restore your game.

But you Choose the Replay data instead of the Game data.

You might even get a waraning that your about to restore another players data.

Since it's just a replay, it's okay to do it anyway.

Now you have the replay in your XMB

Start GT5

go to the replay Theater.

On the Left side of the Frame is an Icon for Import.

Select that Icon, and you can Import the Replay from the XMB into GT5's replay Theater.

Then you just replay it like any other game replay.

Re: Acura NSX RM '91 Challenge

Apr 13, 2013
Hey guys. That race last night was awesome. So glad my stomach held up for the duration. Luckily I got by without making too many costly mistakes. I didn't think I had a shot at winning after seeing Hey's best lap was 1.5 seconds faster than me. And faceman was a good .5 faster in practice. But I guess my fuel/pit strategy worked well. Thanks NLB again for helping me tune my car. Ramjet, sorry about giving you a push on the main straight, one sec, you were taking a wide line, then you came across my nose so I had nowhere to go.

Thanks wagg for another great one. Sorry about your bad luck with the disco.
