Grats again to hey on the win. Next race is at Daytona Road Course, 26 laps.
Reminder: Keep two tires on the track at all times and if a pass is made while going off track, give that spot back.
Really? I led the most laps? I could've sworn hey lead the most. What was the fianl tally?
Also, if two or more people are tied for leading the most laps, do they all get the 1 point bonus?
I scored you for 13 laps led and hey for 9 laps led. If this is wrong please let me know and I'll adjust the points accordingly.
If two or more people tie for most laps led during a race, I'll award each of them 1 point each for most laps led.
edit: in addition to Gojet and hey's laps led I scored the following racers with laps led and their totals:
peyepete - 1
faceman557 - 5
I'm gonna sit this one out guys.
All good man, race when you want to.
Grats to hey on the pole and the win.
Apologies for leaving before the preview race of Motegi Road Course. I was frustrated with the first lap at Daytona Road Course. Almost every race I get knocked back in the grid by late breakers and tonight it happened again ( or maybe I braked way too early idk ) and I let my emotions get the best of me. I'm not the cleanest racer in the GT5 world but I try to give other racers room.
Good racing ice and Nol. Sorry ice for the bump late in the race, I made sure to give the spot back and Nol was right behind me in the grass lol.
Motegi Road Course next week. 24 laps.
I had a good race. I went off track on lap 19 (The first time I had a big mess-up during a race recently), I lost about 5 seconds, but even if I didn't mess up, I would not have won. The margin of victory was 16 seconds.
I played out my fuel strategy perfectly again this race, crossing the line with the fuel meter in the red. Of course, several other drivers weren't so lucky. Face could've been in with a shot at the podium if he didn't dry up his tank early in the race. And Juan ran out of fuel on the final corner again.
I also noticed that hey wasn't going all out again. He just hung out behind me on the straits. I presume he was trying to save fuel.
good race jet, and everybody else. yeah jet at first i was kinda strugglingbecause at race start i found an old car wash sponge, cut a hole in it at wrapped it around my brake pedal. all with the hope that it would fix my sticking brake. it worked really really well, but now i have to use about 5 times the amount of brake pressure just to stop the same way. as a result i kept blowing my entry points. so i figured if i can't lose you, i'd let you lead while i get this new pedal figured out. i did also manage to save on fuel a tad as an added bonus. when we met up later in the race i was running my med tires so my goal was to just try and stay with you the best i could. it wouldn't have work except for your little lap 19 whoopsy daisy, when you pulled a " HEY ". it did come back to you a bit when poor face decided to pull a HEY in the infield right in front of me. all in all it was a good night. thanks WAGG again for being our resident HOST with the MOST!! catch you guys at motegi.
