so if im reading the rules right,  i cant use the 05 GT40 and the 06 GT40 back to back BUT i can run them with the Italia 458 inbetween and its fine no penilty?

Wow, can't believe I forgot to put this in the first post on Tuesday.

The different years of the Ford GT will be considered the same car this year, so if say the '06 is used it can't be run again until 2 races have passed. I'll edit the first post.

Good practice last night guys. Helped me out a lot. I'm going to review the replays and figure out the number of laps for Cape Ring and Fuji F. I learned last night that the McLaren F1 is NOT a good car to use on Cape Ring. Thanks again guys, see you next week.

i dunno if there are any other conflicts like that, but i assume thats going to be the same for all cars that only have a year or two between them?

Here is my understanding of the  2 races past rule...

Race 1 GT40

Race 2 458

Race 3 F1

Now Race 4 the GT40 is useable

Correct me if i'm wrong Wagg.

Sorry for late response I got back home very late last night and I crashed immediately lol. Yeah so if someone uses a Ford GT '02 then they can't use another Ford GT until 2 races have passed, at that time they then can use any Ford GT version they want. All the Ford GT's are considered one version in this season and I cannot think of another brand of car where this issue has come up in Exotics. I am sure that there are cars like the GT's in the game that vary in years only but they haven't been used in Exotics. I myself will most likely use a Ford GT every chance I get lol.

First race is this Thursday. I cannot practice today but the next two days I'll be online practicing after 3 pm est.

ill get the ball rolling,  1:21.017 last night with a stock suspention set up and a slight transmission adjustment.  what are others looking at for times?

Nice time. In practice last week the best lap was 1:21.932 so should be a competitive race. I practiced a bit yesterday and the fastest I went was 1:22.xxx in the Ford GT '02. I will update the thread later with the new lap total for tomorrow night at Trial Mountain. 25 laps is not going to get us 50 minutes of racing.

edit: Tomorrow night at Trial Mountain the race will be 41 laps long. I'll update the schedule post to reflect this.

there is an 02 GT?   i didnt even know that lol   where can this be found?  i only have the 05 and 06

I'm positive that there is a '02 GT. I'll check after the FF race and try to send you one if it can be gifted.
