The next race a McLaren can be used by you and I is race 5 Monza where we could use the MP4-12C if we wanted to, or we could wait til race 6 at  Rome to use the F1 '94 again. At high speed ring you could use a different Audi than the car you used in race 2 or you could use a Ford GT again, or ( lol ) a car you haven't used yet in the season.

ok i just re read the rules "You cannot use the same manufacturer two races in a row."    got it

Need to pick a car with high hp and stable on the banked corners of HSR.  I have a few in mind

I got to run a few practice laps today.
Don't think I'm doing to well though.

Tried 3 differnt cars. Ford gt, Lambo, and F1

Best time I got was 1.04.5xx

1.05 consistant for 20 laps, but tires go away in 4 to 5 laps..

I don't think I could make a 6th lap on same tires.

I started by resetting the cars all back to defaults.

added 1.0 camber on rear

.5 on front

-5 front and rear height.

Didn't change anything else.

600pp and none of the cars got past 190 on the front straight.

Wyld, I will send you a copy of the Ford GT '06 that I'm going to use at HSR. In the preview race last week I was able to get a 1:01 lap time and maybe I got a 1:00 time with the draft. I have been reading around the forums lately and apparently the tire wear model was changed again recently. Idk I didn't notice anything different in the dtm race on Monday night. I can send you that Ford when I get home from work today.

i turned a 59.3xx with the Lexus LFA 2010.   but tires only last like 4 laps.  also turned a 59.7xx with the McLaren F1 1994 but again horrible tirewear 5 laps at most.  is ANYONE getting close to 9 or 10 laps?   or are we looking at a 7 stints of 7 laps as the target goal for the 49 laps.  i was hoping to get 5 stints of 10 laps each but i just do NOT see that happening.

is the Sypker legal in this series?  i know NOTHING about the car but tried it and it seems like an option if its legal

Its funny to look back on my online racing and see how i have evolved as a racer.  i used to HATE qualifying.  i had a REALLY hard time laying down on single fast lap in this game. but could get nice long runs and extended tire life...  now i've become a really good qualifier  and great at putting down single fast laps... but my tire conservation has gone down hill.

Ken, I'll check on the Spyker tomorrow morning when I have more time. I don't think it has been run in the first two seasons but I'll let you know tomorrow.

OK Wagg, I'll Look for it.
I tried the LFA tonight. my times are still 1:04's best lap was 1:03:xxx really close to a 1:04 though.
So It's got to be my driving skill and the tuning..

Anyway, I still enjoy getting on the track, and IF I happen to be the slowest one out there, I'll do my best to stay out of the leaders way..

But 5 seconds slower per lap, on a 1 minute course is a lot...
Maybe I should of left this thing packed away in the box...

Ken - the Spyker was used before in this series. I searched the forums and Ram used it in season 2 at Eiger Norwand. You or anyone else can use the car.

Nah man. After such a long time away from this game it'll take some time to have the feel for driving again. I sent you the Ford this morning. If you practice with the car and want to change the top speed, only move the Final Gear because the Ford was tranny tricked.
