Is that playing tricks with PP numbers?
The track is listed in the above post. Tokyo
Stealth Mod's are the Intake Manifold, Racing Intake Filter and Exhaust Manifold. These modifications do not affect the redline of the car, which makes their installation difficult to detect by technical inspection. Thus they are "Stealthy".
If you added a turbo, then adjusted the Power Limiter to achieve the correct HP / PP, the redline would be different.
The above is from the guidelines established by TimneyB and others at the TPRA, when completing the data on broken-in cars in GT5, which can be checked at http://www.gtdata.net/ .

OK, so if 427 PP is broken in, I keep it near that because of the tires.
You can push your luck, but you will smack the barriers, especially on the first lap.

sooo.... stock then? no aero/wheel upgrages or tuner parts, and sticking to CS tires?

Weekly Details
Tonight, we get to drive a car that anyone can buy, on its home turf, Japan. It's a good little performer in stock power trim, but you can adjust it running gear.
The challenge is, even for a short number of laps, to be aware of how tire grip changes and, therefore, to stay off the walls. The car has enough power to get into trouble, so try to finish unscathed.
Monday: September 10
Time: 8 PM - 9 PM (or later, depending on interest)
Be on time!
Car: Honda Integra DC5, 2004, from the New Dealership
Track: Tokyo R246, reverse
Race conditions:
PP range: 427 (stock, broken in)

Laps: 6
Tire wear: On
Racing will start on time, so be early.
I'll try to open the lobby between 7:30-7:45.

What an awesome night of racing! Some drivers who I'd never seen before got in a car a were out front with no practice. Just amazing!
Thanks for coming out. We had a good turnout, most of whom stayed for over two hours, too.

If you care to look at the replay, you'll see that 3 of them had illegal mods done to their cars. Their redlines show up as about 300-500 RPM higher than ours. It's a common trick that nets an unscrupulous driver about 20-30 extra Ft/lbs of torque even at the same HP. If the room is set up by PP only like last night, it's also godd for a substantial HP gain too.
Do I feel cheated? No, I don't. My goal was to attend and follow the regulations and drive with honor. My main goal was to have fun, and that was well accomplished.
If a driver or drivers choose to act without honor or ethics, then I really can't do anything for them, and I don't know if you can either.
Not sour grapes on my part, just letting folks know that after 4 years of being staff at a League, we know exactly what to look for.
