I think that as long as the "cosmetic" aero bits don't enable the aero tuning adjustment, you can use them.

Nope, unless they made a change, I tried to join a race before with just front and rear body kits and it wouldn't let me. even though it didn't add downforce, it still wouldn't let me race.

Has anyone done any testing to see how a stock tranny is gonna work on this track?

I'll try it out tonite after work.

Shouldn't be a problem. The stock tranny should be over 200 mph. We won't be goin that fast.

nice race specs Fiji.  You should remove the "Run Watcha brung" reference as it is related to being able to pick any car that meets specs, from a prior weekend, and the "no tuning below 85%" from last week.  Don't want people to get too confused

FYI, cosmetic kits "should" not keep you from joining a restricted tuning race.  however, it may be a glitchy area of GT.  secondly, if someone is unable to get into the race...

GO INTO TUNING SCREEN AND CLICK "RESET" ON ALL ADJUSTABLE ITEMS, EVEN IF YOU HAVEN'T TOUCHED THEM BEFORE.

Well like I said crow, unless it was fixed, last time I tried to add body kit (no wing) under tuning prohibited settings, with an untuned car, it told me my car didn't meet requirements. I'll try it again later just to make sure.

yup, just bought a brand new Scuda, added the front splitter (only body kit available, it's ugly anyways to me at least, lol, just a carbon splitter added to the nose) and it's telling me my car is Prohibited, so no body work is allowed.

Short list of what's allowed under "Tuning Prohibited" settings:

• Car Wash
• Oil Change
• Breaking In
• Body Paint
• Rims
• Rims Paint
• Tires

If it's not listed, it's not allowed.
