ouch, I would of figured that to be ok
Good to hear, when I made that list I had just bought a fresh car, so Engine Overhauling and Chassis Maintenance weren't needed for me, so I honestly forgot about those 2 options, lol Just an honest mistake.

Lazy24 & I were messing around a little earlier & I discovered that even with tuning prohibited, you can still adjust the brake bias once your out on the track. (have to re-adjust it every time you enter track)
I don't know if this was common knowledge or not, but I just thought I'd post it here to "level the playing field" for those that don't know.

Since no one else posted anything I thought I'd better take a moment tonight and figure something out. I now this might turn some people away, but please try the car detuned like this before you decide. This will give people who might like open cockpit cars but don't have much success handling the power of modern formula cars a chance at having a more enjoyable race.
If everyone hates it we can of course do something else.

Please send a Friend Request to GT_Saturday to join in on the fun!
Meet up in the GT_Saturday lounge at 3 p.m.
*Special Note*
adding 30kg of weight will meet requirements, and sliding weight toward the front may help with spin-out issues. No need for ASM, as these are fairly tame after reducing power and adding TCS if you feel you still need it. If you need a car to drive, just ask someone to send you a level 24 ticket, which can be flipped to obtain this car. 1/3 chance each time.
Other Rules- Race clean and courteous.- Minimize contact at all cost.-
No short cutting, keep two wheel within the track boundaries.-
Always re-enter the track safely, whether it be from the pits or an accident.-
HAVE FUN!

About that "Massively Detuned" part... When are we going to race fast cars, lol.
PS. Noticed you saw that GT-R in a dealership. I'm yet to see one in real life. Here are some photos I got while at the Denver Auto Show last March.
They didn't have a GT-R at the Nissan section. All they had was a Leaf and a 370Z convertible. ![]()
I also saw one of these while driving home. (Don't worry, friend took these pictures. Don't take pictures while driving, lol.)

wow, thanks for sharing the pics gojet
I especially love the finish on that Aventador. You should have let them know that you wanted to see a GT-R and not a stupid leaf. let them know you drove a leaf in GT Academy and that made you hate it even more
That would surely cause some smoke!
I saw a GT-R in East Lansing this spring. I think it might have been a car that some local tuner guys (mostly DSM/EVO tuners) got a chance to work on.
As for this week's specs, I'm hoping that people will find these fast, but not too unruly. It's a test to see if we can indeed run some faster cars from time to time. These buggers are still real fast at this detuned level. I ran a couple short races against the AI trying to pick the track location, and I'm pretty sure the game handed me opponents that were NOT detuned, and I came in 4th.
With all that extra power, few people know how to use it properly and get into trouble. Those who do are almost never at full throttle on a track like GVE.
Reducing power basically just makes it easier to mash the gas and have no negative consequences.
BUt beware, these things will still come around on you. Treat it like it is a 580kg car with 550hp. That's almost 1hp per kg which is stil a high power/weight ratio.
REMEMBER IF YOU NEED A CAR JUST ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE (a ticket)!! (but don't wait too long so someone has an open send available)

I will be out this Saturday. So no GT Saturday for me. Besides, I do not have Formula GT in my garage yet. (Still saving up credits for other cars.)

tickets are easy to send, my friend!
at most it should take 3 attempts to get an FGT from a lvl 24 ticket. sometimes more.
I don't want not having the car to be an issue for anyone, so please if that is the case just let one of us know!!
(I thought about using the ferrari F1's, but those are even more expensive and the FGT usually gets left out)
