Installing problems for GTA4.

I tried this a few times, I put my gta disc and it goes to the "Installing data to hard disk drive" screen and it gets to about 1/4 of the way but then it just stops, I waited for a couple hours and it didn't even move a centimeter, I know I have enough space on my system, are there any real solutions for fix this

Happened to try starting it over again
