Jak and Daxter Collection on PS Vita

In February 2012, Naughty Dog’s beloved Jak and Daxter franchise got a faithful HD remake on PS3 in the form of Jak and Daxter Collection, satiating series fans and introducing newcomers to the duo. This June, we’re expanding the collection to the portable audience. Jak and Daxter Collection (comprised of three of Jak and Daxter’s legendary adventures – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3) is coming to PS Vita for just $29.99.

The power of PS Vita means Jak and Daxter Collection will feature authentically reproduced graphics from the original games. Longtime fans will instantly feel at home, and new players will experience the world of Jak and Daxter for the first time, along with new touch-based applications of certain mini games throughout the collection.

Jak and Daxter Collection on PS Vita has full Trophy support, but fear not Trophy hunters — the list isn’t shared with the PS3 version, so go for the Platinum!

We’ve been hard at work on this addition to the Jak and Daxter lineage, and we can’t wait to hear your hover board triumph stories as well as your trials and tribulations during your quests for more eco.

Can't wait for it :smileyvery-happy: Jak & Daxter is my favourite game series and Jak 3 is my favourite game. So these going portable is great in my opinion. Now only hoping for Sly & Ratchet trilogies.

Some other ideas for the trilogy.

Make new trophies, most of the trophies are ether story trophies or collect trophies which in Jak 2 its almost impossible to do. Some suggestions could be.....

-Jak 2-Orange Lighting, Finish the Daxter spider sequence without taking damage

Add an easy mode for Jak 2 :/

Maybe throw in some making of videos and trailers.

PS All-Stars Battle Royale Mains: Sly,Jak,Ratchet,PaRappa,Kat,Good Cole,Raiden.
Kingdom Hearts FTW!

Jak 2 is so much easier than you think. You just need skill; that's all.

I know that, i did actually find it easier playing through it on the PS3 trilogy than when i played it on PS2. But still it is hard. Precursor orbs are a pain to find without a guide. There are missions that are extremely hard or very annoying some examples being get the Mar piece at the slums, Metal Kor, Getting out of the weapons factory...Then the annoying missions being the **bleep** mini games like wrack a metal head, the underwater mission where you have to find Sid, The escort missions were a little annoying like escorting Krew's men through the sewers. There was just a lot of very hard or annoying missions and it would be good to see it fixed. Also i hope that Kor glitch is fixed where during the cutscene where he (Spoiler alert) kills the baron and turns into the metal head leader.

Anyway i'm glad to see the trilogy come to Vita since Jak 3 is my favourite game, and Jak & Daxter & Jak 2 are great games as well.

anyone have any advice whether or not to get this for Vita or PS3?  Does it simply come down to preference of a portable small screen vs a stationary large screen?

From the reviews I've read so far, PS3 might be your best bet. The idea of taking trilogy on the go sounds nice, but it has technical issues.
