Co-op Disconnect?

3 replies 446 views Edited Nov 30, 2012

Is it possible to play alone on any playthrus? i don't want some random layer coming in and grabbing everything ahead of me.

There must be an easy way to boot someone joining in on your game, but how?

The best way to play alone in Journey is by signing out of the PlayStation Network. You'll no longer have any randoms coming in, but you'll also be without a helping hand to show you the way... not to say that it's essential.

I'm not sure anybody can take anything ahead of you, at least not the scarf pieces, not sure about the glyphs. part of the game is a shared experience w/ a stranger, you really limit yourself by playing alone. plus the best part, flying, can only be done w/ another player. Smiley Tongue

That's mostly right. The other player has separate glyphs and symbols. Playing co-op is easier and more fun (in my humble opinion) More experienced players can show you tricks to widen your Journey experience - like showing you how to enter the glitch areas, dry climbing the Tower, etc.
