Kingdom Hearts Series

Recently Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMIX containing: Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, Re: Chain of Memories an HD cutscenes of  358/2 Days. That's a great collection but there's somethings missing. Kingdom Hearts II  (possibly Final Mix) and Birth by Sleep. As this is 1.5 ReMIX then could we get 2.5 ReMIX with the rest of the games because I would certainly put Kingdom Hearts II over 358/2 Days. Do think this is likely or not?

I would say it's likely that 2-3 years from now, they'll release the 2.5 HD Collection with Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+ as well as Kingdom Hearts: Re: Coded, Birth by Sleep, and maybe Dream Drop Distance. I just wish they put all of them in one package, but I guess that would be picky since they don't really have an obligation to bring us these at all. I'll just go with the flow. It is Kingdom Hearts after all.

I was just about to make a thread like this. Here's what I was thinking: KHII Final Mix+, Birth by Sleep, HD cutscenes of Dream Drop Distance. Sound fair? Also, I guess they could include the Re:Coded cutscenes as well. I still wish they just did one HD collection with KH Final Mix, KHII Final Mix +, and either BBS or DDD. Probably BBS since it was on PSP.

I think it's likely, I mean, why else didn't they add KH 2 to this collection?

HM01_Impaler I totally agree with you. Im thinking KH 2.5 will have obvious KH 2 fm+ and BBS, and then have coded and 3D as watchable movies so we are fully ready for KH3. Hopefully 3D is playable though, but as long as we know what happens I'll be sweet.

Also as far as release dates go I'm feeling us outside of Japan will probably get 1.5 mid 2013 with 2.5 hopefully coming out Christmas the same year. Then KH3 probs 358 days later lol

ssjhadoken, I appreciate that you support my speculation. Also, your timeline for the releases sounds very plausible to me. Anyway, I am more worried about 1.5 having an American release before I even begin to think about a potential 2.5 collection.

I thinkit will be sooner that 2 to 3 years, as the 3rd KH is currently said to be planned for early 2014

Again, the 1.5HD remastered collection is ONLY for Japan.

Square Enix specifically said its for the Japanese market only.

Now, that doesn't mean it might make it here EVENTUALLY, but there are no plans to.

They said that it's only in Japan so far. But, here are some facts you should consider:

1. It was recently reported that it'll have ENGLISH voice-over

2. SE and Disney hinted that a big title will coe to America in 2012

3. Kingdom Hearts has a very big fan base in America. Sales will sky-rocket here.

4. This will help set up newer players and prepare others for KH3.

5. Because I say so.
