LBP Karting (Multi-player)

4 replies 287 views Edited Nov 13, 2012

In the game "LBG Karting" the unit automatically goes to two players, one of
which is an on-line player. How do I eliminate the second player and turn off
the on-line aspect of the game. This game is being played by a five year
old.

FYI I am not a "gamer" this is for my grandson

Is it possible you have a PS Bluray remote setup to the PS3? I know that's been causing some grief with players who expect to play by themselves but because of the remote control setup the game reads it as a second controller...

I guess that's it. When the game starts it brings up the log-on dialog box for the Playstation network.

Can this be turned off?

I'm having a similar issue. I played with my husband a few days ago, and now his sackboy won't go away when I start the game. I read on another forum to press reset on the second controller to get rid of the second sackboy, and that did work. But is there a way for me to not have to do that every time I play the game? It's really a pain!

Plus, our second controller is not a regular PS3 controller, so it doesn't have a reset button (that I can find), so I have to play with that, even though I'd prefer the regular PS3 controller.
