I got LBP:K yeterday, and was having a good time playing it when my PS3 crashed. I rebooted it, turned it off for 3 hours and tried again. Went fine for a bit, then crashed again. Left The PS3 on to see if it was a time issue, but it just sat there playing my music for hours with no problem. So I tested to see if it was the ability to play games. Started up Resident Evil 4 off the HDD and played for a few hours no problem. So I thought that it might be the ability to read discs. So I put in MGS4 and played it for a few hours just fine. Then I tried Resident Evil 6, Sly Cooper, and the MGS HD Collection. They all worked fine. I took back my original copy and exchanged it for a new one, thinking it might be the disk itself. Got home and tried out the new disk, same problem. I went into my save data and deleted everything having to do with LBPK and reinstalled it all, but it still crashes anytime I try to play it. I don't know what's wrong. Anyone else having this problem?
I noticed something that works with freezing. Reseting default settings. Give it a shot and see how it works out for you. You can even go in the hidden menu of the ps3 and restore the HDD. It acts as a defragment tool. Video below on the Hidden menu. To restore your default settings go to ↓

I'm not going to post a video about the troubleshoot menu.
- Have your PS3 On
- When going to turn it off hold down the PS3 power button till it turns off.
- When it's off, push and hold down on the PS3 power buttion till it beeps twice like a double tap.
- Let go and the system will have you plug your remote in.
- Try to rebuild your database from there.
Youtube does have videos if you need them.
