Some MAG poetry...

93 replies 332 views Edited Feb 5, 2012

Mag is my first FPS,

I've played it borderlining excess,

Deadly Blue Dots was my start,

They have a special place in my heart.

The Butterfly Effect was my next,

until Qubey took the Vladivostok express,

Now in the Flock I fly so high,

even though I still often die.

My friends nag me all day long;

"Play other games with us, come along!"

Play MAG I will until servers shut,

unless Dust fulfills my pew pew lust.

CQC is my game,

though lag has made it quite insane,

remember the good old days?

when knifing were my only ways.

Some people notoriously T-bag me,

play from Norway and you'll see,

375 ping is no thrill,

don't overestimate your skill.

To Severians I have this to say;

thanks for making it go one way,

the shadow war you truly won,

though paid the price did everyone.

Raven is my dear sweet home,

even though they will us own,

challenging games I truly need,

and that's no EZ-moders creed.

Fast packed action is my goal,

you'll never find me playing like a mole,

honour is a way of life,

true satisfaction when thee I smite.

MAG I love you whole and true,

without you, what would I do?

MAG I need you like a drug,

contemplating quitting makes me shrug,

My rant is over, what's left to say?

its time for me to hit the hay,

if you're still with me I can clearly see,

you love this game as much as me.

There once was a game called MAG...

There once was a game called MAG

The people who love it always brag

They talk about 256 online players

And laugh in the faces of the nay-sayers

In the game there are 3 different factions

The interfaction tensions make for interesting online reactions.

They constantly fight in a shadow war

In which victories give you advantanges you didn't have before

The factions are SVER, Valor, and Raven

Which one will you choose as your haven?

Each one has its own different quirks

the challenge is to find which one for you works

All in all this game is a real controller gripper

And I feel I owe a big thanks to the developer Zipper

Thanks for making a massive online game that is so much fun

Now time to get out there and grab up my favorite gun

Yes I wrote this forever and a Day ago but I'm bored so here it is now.

I've got a doozie in the clan thread on page 50something, but its too abrasive for the general forum (IE sver chest thumping in the face of other factions).

Damn man, that nearly made me cry.

A warrior and a poet? Some kind of bionic baby?

Ah but King Babar the best warrior were also poets. Have you ever read anything that the Samurai wrote right before battles. Its pretty interesting.
