MLB: The Show Series

MLB 13: The Show obviously needs some improvement from 12 the show. But so does every new game. Some things I feel it should include are:

RTTS: new realistic goals for players, if I have a closing pitcher, I shouldn't have a goal about getting a high OPS. If I play 15 seasons in the pros and deserve a spot in the hall of fame, there should be some kind of induction for my player. If my player is player of the game, there should be some bonus skill points for my using.

They should also make a career for being a manager. You should be able to sign as a minor league manager and work your way up to bench coach on the pros or something.

Anyone like the idea of being an umpire? I do. You should be able to be the home plate umpire so YOU can make the game deciding call. You can make your own decisions like the infamous Jim Joyce call in Armando's almost-perfect game.

FRANCHISE: I don't have many complaints with franchise because I don't play it too much, but I did notice some things. Players overalls should be a number, not a bar. And managers should be able to argue calls and get thrown out.

IN GENERAL: throwback teams, throwback uniforms for current teams, weather delays. Double headers because of weather issues. Realistic amount of strikes thrown by pitchers. Hitting a pitch on the sweet spot right down the middle and popping up to the catcher.

Looking forward to seeing the new game!

mlb the show 2013 should add create a team and create a stadium. this would bring the game to a new level and a fun time making new teams for francise mode

Agreed. If you break a single season or all time record there should be more than what you get currently. I only play rtts mode and the cutscenes ( if you call them that ) are so lacking when your player does achieves a milestone. I broke Bond's season hr record and it was an afterthought apparently to the game lol. I'm at 755 hr currently with my RF and all it said was I tied Aaron, that was it. Rtts mode definitely needs more fleshing out.

Also the commentary is horrendous lol. It's the same ol thing every single game. It's boring lol. The overall presentation of The Show needs to improve. Make it more exciting, add some studio highlights where they show good and bad plays after a game or a series. I've made over 100 million bucks in my career and so what? You can't use it for anything so how about being able to purchase training upgrades or whatever.

I've said this in another post but I strongly think they should add the option to talk to the press after every game. This way you can praise/blast your manager, teammates, the opposing team, the weather you name it. There is so much more they can do with this game it's unreal. They just got to use their imagination.

Another thing they need to fix is the scoring decisions they make. Unless I'm wrong, hitting into a fielder's choice should not result in an out if your player isn't thrown out at first. I've had dozens and dozens of those lol. Shouldn't that be a non accredited at bat? Not really sure but that's always bugged me.

It May be to Late if not I think Two things the show should add if your playing at a certain stadium use different commentator for different stadiums you play ex play at yankee stadium use micheal kay or ken singleton another thing is if u trade a player change the cap in the pic ex i traded mike trout to the yankees when he bat the pic shows him in angles cap thaths it
